Our House

In August, after months of looking, the Lord blessed us with a house in Colorado Springs, CO. It needs some love, but we love it and it was an answer to prayer. Thankfully Nate can do most of the work needed on it. We are just getting ready to redo one of the bathrooms. It was not really in any condition to be used when we bought the house, so we are excited to get it finished. There is a large backyard for Cash and Kate has her own room decorated in ladybugs. And we have a guest room for whenever our friends and family want to come visit :) So when are you coming?

Christmas Day

We woke up on Christmas day to light snow and had about 3 inches by late afternoon. Kate's 1st Christmas was a white Christmas!

Kate Neema Clay

So our little girl Kate Neema (pronounced Knee-emma which means grace in Swahili) was born on October 16. 2007. She weighed 6 lb 12 oz and was 19.5 inches long. She came into the world with super curly hair, but now is only curly when it is wet. She has blue eyes and blondish/brownish/redish hair (we can't really tell yet). We think she's beautiful. She had kind of a rough start (she has acid reflux) but is doing so much better now.
She is now 10 weeks old and seems to be doing something new everyday. We love to get her out of her crib in the morning and get the biggest smile ever! As of last week she weighed in at 10 lb 2 oz and is 22 inches long. She's a healthy one :)

The Beginning

Okay, so we are going to try this blog thing to keep our friends and family updated on what is going on in the Clay family. We are not the most computer literate people, so please be patient with us. Hopefully you all have fun reading it!
